SERVICES
Custom Die Casting Service
Die casting produces complex metal parts with tight tolerances and excellent surface quality at high production volumes. We manage the full chain under one quality system: mold design, tooling, casting, CNC finishing and surface treatment. Send your 3D model for a free DFM review and a die-casting quote within 24 hours.
THE REAL DECISION
Small-Batch Sourcing, Done Right vs. Done Wrong
Low-volume buyers usually hit one of two paths. The wrong one costs months and doubles the budget; the right one gets real production parts in your hand in weeks. Here is what separates them.
The wrong path: casting and CNC split across vendors
When the casting shop and the CNC shop are different companies, every hand-off re-fixtures the part and re-establishes datums that were already set in the die. Each transfer adds stack-up error and weeks of shipping and queue time — features that left the mold at ±0.05 mm can come back ±0.2 mm or worse after a second-op setup, and one porosity dispute is enough to stall the whole program.
The wrong path: walls pushed below what the alloy can fill
Thin walls look like a cost win on paper, but below the alloy's real minimum fill thickness the melt front freezes before the cavity fills — producing cold shuts, incomplete fill and porosity at the far end of the part. The defects often only surface after plating or pressure testing, when the batch is already in finishing.

Tolerances and Wall Thickness in Die Casting
Die casting holds tighter tolerances than sand casting and supports thinner walls than most molding processes. Values per ISO 8062-3 tolerance grades and general DFM references.
| Alloy | Min. Wall Thickness | Typical Wall | Dimensional Tolerance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Aluminum (A380 / ADC12) | 0.8 – 1.0 mm | 1.5 – 3.0 mm | ±0.05 mm precision features, ±0.15 mm general |
| Zinc (Zamak 3 / 5) | 0.5 mm | 1.0 – 2.5 mm | ±0.025 mm achievable on small features |
| Magnesium (AZ91D) | 1.0 mm | 2.0 – 3.5 mm | ±0.10 mm general |
| Draft angle (all) | 0.5° min | 1° – 2° recommended | Required for ejection |
| Machine range | 58 T smallest | — | 800 T largest |
| Surface finish as-cast | Ra 1.6 μm | — | Ra 0.8 μm with polish |

HOW IT WORKS
From Inquiry to Delivery
Mold Design & Development
Part geometry, gating, overflow and cooling layout reviewed with mold-flow simulation before steel is cut.
Die Casting Mold Making
Dies are machined from high-durability S136 mold steel for full control of fit and finish.
Product Die Casting
Molten alloy is injected into the die at high pressure on 58–800 T machines; cycles repeat automatically for consistent parts.
Gate Removal & Deburring
Gates, runners and flash are trimmed and parts are deburred to spec.
CNC Machining
Critical faces, bores and mounting features are precision-machined to drawing.
Tapping & Drilling
Threads and holes are added with CNC tapping and drilling stations.
Grinding & Polishing
Parting-line witness and rough surfaces are ground and polished for appearance or plating.
Quality Inspection
Dimensional, porosity and surface checks at every stage — over 98% pass rate in full-scale inspection.
Surface Treatment
Anodizing, powder coating, plating or painting applied per specification.
Final Inspection & Assembly
Final dimensional audit, assembly of sub-components and approved packing for shipment.
