Mold design is finalized in-house — gating, cooling, shrinkage compensation — and approved with you before steel is ordered.

Tooling build

CNC, wire EDM and polishing teams cut the mold; rapid tooling ships in 7–12 days, production tooling in 25–30 days.

Trial shots & approval

T1 samples are molded on Sodick presses, measured, and sent with a trial report for your sign-off.

A: Plastic molding is the umbrella process family; injection molding is the precision, high-volume member of it — and the one our factory is built around.

Q: Which process should I choose for a hollow part?

A: Bottles and containers suit blow molding; very large hollow tanks suit rotational molding. Solid, detailed parts suit injection molding — tell us the geometry and we'll recommend at DFM.

Q: Do you make the molds in-house?

A: Yes — mold design, CNC, wire EDM (9+4), grinding and polishing all happen in our own shop, with CMM verification before trial shots.

Q: What tolerances can you hold?

A: ±0.05 mm precision molding on critical dimensions, ±0.1 mm standard, verified by first-article and in-process CMM inspection.

Q: What lead times should I plan for?

A: Rapid tooling 7–12 days for low-volume runs; production tooling 25–30 days; then global shipping from our 10000 m² facility.

Injection vs. Blow vs. Rotational vs. Compression Molding

Process economics per industry-standard practice — each route dominates a different part family, and the right choice is set at DFM before any tooling spend.

Injection moldingMelt injected under high pressure into a closed cavity. Best for complex geometry, tight tolerance (±0.05–0.1 mm) and high volume; cycle measured in seconds. What MOLDITQUICK runs on 18+3 Sodick machines.
Blow moldingA hollow parison is inflated against the cavity wall. The default for bottles, containers and hollow ducts; cheaper per hollow part but with looser wall control and tolerance.
Rotational moldingPowder rotates in a heated mold, melting against the walls. Makes huge, seamless, stress-free hollow parts (tanks, bins) with low tooling cost — at 20–60 minute cycle times.
Compression moldingA preheated charge is squeezed between platens. Dominant for thermosets (SMC/BMC) and high-strength composites; excellent material utilization, slower cycles, lower output.
