What We Mold for Automotive
Modern vehicles carry more molded plastic than ever — interiors, exterior trim, electrical systems and under-hood components all rely on injection molding for geometry, weight and cost that metal cannot match. We manufacture automotive components across that range: interior parts (trim panels, bezels, door handles, soft-touch grips), exterior parts (spoilers, emblems, mirror housings) and functional parts (sensor housings, connectors, brackets, cable management).
Automotive is a discipline, not just a market — which is why our factory runs under IATF 16949:2016. Tooling is built and tried in-house, first articles are measured against the full drawing, and production runs under controlled process parameters with batch traceability. Materials, Tolerances & Insert Molding
- Interior: ABS, PC/ABS and PP with texture, low-gloss and color-matched finishes.
- Under-hood & electrical: PA6/PA66, PBT, PPS and heat-stabilized PC grades that survive heat, oil and vibration.
- Seals & soft-touch: TPU, TPE and silicone overmolded over rigid carriers.
- Tolerances: molded features verified on CMM and vision systems; metal inserts positioned to ±0.02 mm on our vertical presses.
- Multi-material: two-shot and overmolded assemblies produced in-house so mating surfaces stay aligned.
DFM catches automotive-specific risks early: gate witness lines on class-A surfaces, knit lines on structural ribs, warpage on large thin panels and insert retention under thermal cycling. Every program starts with a written DFM review, and the mold is built in our own tool shop — the same discipline we apply to every automotive mold.
IATF 16949, PPAP & Documentation
Automotive buyers do not just buy parts — they buy evidence. Our IATF 16949 system covers the whole chain: incoming material verification, in-process sampling, final inspection and corrective action. PPAP-style documentation — dimensional reports, material certificates, process parameters and batch traceability — is compiled per program and shipped with the product.
